Yesterday the weather went from the 50s into the 30s. God showered us with a beautiful blanket of snow. Today, I awoke to sunshine melting what might be this season’s last snowfall. The temperature is in the 20s but that is not stopping the strength of God’s warming light of day. What a majestic God I am blessed to know. God invited me into a relationship with him. Really, the relationship is almost one way when you consider what God provides and how little I can do in return. I am able to humbly offer words of praise and thanksgiving. I am able to participate in this life and be aware of my surroundings, giving acknowledgement of all the wondrous splendor of God and all he creates. I am able to share the Word of God with others and I am blessed to do so. I am able to Tithe. These things seem so small when I consider God's promises to me. God promised me salvation and a home of splendor in Heaven with Jesus. God promises to fulfill my needs. God promises peace for my soul. God provides strength for me when I am weak and weary. God promises to never forsake me. I could go on and on.
